Only movies like birdbox and Roma are both streamed and theatrical released. Which for Roma was a wise decision for golden globe and Oscar awards. I doubt birdbox or the Chris pine medieval movie would have done much more business at boxoffice if Netflix didn’t simultaneously stream. And birdbox was one of the highest streamed movies on Netflix
American son will be an adaptation like fences. So maybe it will be released in movie theaters. |
