| I know he has detractors on here from the Statler & Warldof segment, but I don't think any host has come close to equaling his high wire act of simultaneously sending up and paying loving tribute to theatre and, especially, musical comedy. I don't know if it's his pull in the industry or what, but he also seems to get the best writers for his Tony stints. And, as he proved with his somewhat lackluster Oscars gig, the Tonys are his true home. |
