There's also a stream called American Standards, not all Bway, but quite a bit. This morning I heard "To Keep My Love Alive" from "A Connecticut Yankee," "Make Believe" from " Show Boat," and "So In Love" from "Kiss Me, Kate."
The stream is broadcast by NY's classical music station WQXR and its parent station WNYC. If the link here doesn't work, go to wqxr.org and choose "ALL STREAMS."
You can also do this from wnyc.org and choose "ALL STREAMS." Scroll down to American Standards. (I believe it's a 24-hour stream.)
In a Rodgers and Hart segment they played:
"With A Song In My Heart" (Spring Is Here)
"She Was Too Good to Me" (dropped from Simple Simon)
"Sing For Your Supper" (The Boys From Syracuse)
"The Girl Friend" |
