| "Someone in April" is at the same time a gorgeous ballad, a flashback plot song, and the title serves as a comic punch-line at the end of the song. The recording with Georgia Brown and Paul Sorvino is delightful, and I read somewhere that the men's trio "One more walk around the Garden", was Julie Andrews' favorite Lerner lyric. Does anyone else remember this comment by Miss Andrews?. |
