It was interesting revisiting RENT after a number of years. When the show originally came out I was in college, and the characters played older to me. Now everyone just seems so young, and I find myself identifying with the parents! Yes, you should call your mom. And what is so wrong with Buzzline? Benny seems to be the only one talking any sense.
Oh well. The score is beautiful. And Larson captures what so many of us were feeling back then. How far we have come. |
