| Spending time with the extraordinary songs was what moved me most, and what seemed to charge most of the cast as the dress rehearsal progressed. A problem was that the girl playing Mimi seemed to be finding her way still...I did not believe she was an addict. Listen to Daphne Rubin Vega again: a whole world beneath the words. |
