| This is the third time York has presented CARMELINA as part of the Musicals in Mufti series. They did it previously in 1996 with Debbie Gravitte in the title role and in 2006 with Marla Schaffel in the title role. I saw the latter and fell in love with the score. It's such a charming, funny little piece. I'm happy to see it back in New York again, though I doubt I'll be able to make a performance of this run. |
