Disclaimer: I'm not a RENT fan and didn't see it, but I knew of the misfortune of "Roger's" broken foot/ankle. Had I known they went ahead and did the entire live performance anyway, with him in a wheelchair and the cast/crew making second to second adjustments and it was broadcast in its entirety?...you couldn't have kept me away. This Vulture non-review says it much better than I could've. Kudos to the performers for forging on, even if FOX didn't have the guts to trust them to make a work of art out of the moment.
