Joe, I agree with you that it would be odd to have invited the critics now. At this point, she's more than halfway through her originally announced run.
But it's also weird that her last announced show is less than 3 weeks away, and nothing has been said about who's playing the role after that. I really hope Benanti extends, but I wonder if that fell through, and now they're scrambling to find someone. |
