It would do VERY well, because HAMILTON is still the current zeitgeist-y mega-hit and anything to do with it does well. If this RENT had been done in the 1990's, during its heyday, it would have done a lot better.
If we were to get a reconceived version of HAMILTON in a television studio (something akin to this RENT), I would expect that around 2039 or so when the original productions around the world have closed, the original production has been broadcast on PBS, and the movie version is a distant memory. |
