AHA, Michael ! A man after my own heart ! Last year I saw a superb "Gypsy" in Astoria, with the definitive Herbie, an Afro-American Rose, BUT -------- NO OVERTURE !!! Yes ! Gypsy was overture-less ! Even the MOVIE had an overture ! And the orchestra in Astoria was great !
