| Good point, thanks, re: "Grant" vs "Alvarez" but still, they did put an awful lot of effort into making Leigh look as Latina as possible (including stereotypical hoop earrings and that black wig). Because Chita, one assumes. They certainly could have kept her blonde and yet seem to be caught in And I agree re "One Boy" but the screenplay does eliminate the backup girls and gives Hugo a voice so it solidifies the moment between Kim and Hugo; it also brings Rosie in to counter with Kim, so that strengthens the connection between the two women. I happen to love that sequence, it is quite beautifully staged and shot. I love that soundstage backyard set! |
