In giving Janet Leigh a black wig (or dying her hair black), they may have been trying to make her look Latina, but I never took it that way. I've always assumed they were just trying to make her look as different as possible from the way she looked in PSYCHO, where she as a blonde :-)
Good point about "One Boy," although in the show, Rosie does sing a bit of the song right after Kim and the girls finish, even though she and Kim never sing in counterpoint. |
