I can always get them - unless an opera is actually sold out. RUSH tickets are usually towards the back or are on extreme sides. Lets say they go on sale at noon. Take a look at the regular buy tickets view around 11.30am. If there seem a lot of vacant orchestra seats towards side and back - then you will be in luck. You need to log in right at 12 - and then have half an hour to kill. Sometimes you get offered tix right away. Sometimes it says BUY tickets but there dont seem to be any. You have to keep refreshing - some will magically appear. I have had this happen as late as 12.35. Even if it says SOLD OUT, keep at it til 12.30 or so. I have had this happen as well, and then the BUY button will magically reappear as they release some more for sale. But when there are only some GREAT seats left, they will not offer them, as RUSH - and they are not, as some think, promising to offer RUSH dfor every performance. Only when they feel they need to to fill the house.
