| I know this is cruel, but I've always gotten a rush ticket to a performance I wanted to see -- including Domingo and Fleming performances. There's a trick to it. But I'm not going to reveal it because I don't need more competition, but the trick is partially touched upon in the previous posts just not completely. Also, there's a trick to getting into the best seats in the house. I always like to get those $340 seats for $25. I call it arts leveraging. (When the Met first opened, the orchestra seats -- all the orchestra seats no matter where they were -- were $25. How far the mighty have fallen. Those rush tickets are almost the best deal in town.) |
