Ostrow makes so many errors in the two books of his I've skimmed. Yes, that thing about Drake having seen the show with Everhart is clearly incorrect. I don't know if you have the excerpts from Ingrid Edwards's diary that Peter Filichia posted some years back when he was writing for Theatremania, but it seems pretty definite that Everhart did not go on at all in New Haven, that he would not have been ready to go on because he was not hired till Wednesday of the week in New Haven, the day after Da Silva told Ostrow he was resigning.

Hunt has also some gotten some things wrong when he's talked about 1776, but I think he's a bit more trustworthy than Ostrow.
