The revival I was thinking of was a summer tour in 1971, and the actor was John McCook.
Prowse and McCook met when they worked together in Las Vegas around 1970. They later married, had a son, and divorced around 1979.
McCook was first on The Young and Restless and later -- and still -- on The Bold and Beautiful.
Only possible Broadway credit for a John McCook was in the 1964 City Center revival of West Side Story, but McCook would have been 20 years old and possibly still at Cal State Long Beach. He was about 10 years younger than Prowse. |
