*I'm sorry, but that's nonsense. Oscar winners do not necessarily become bankable stars. Certainly not 70 year women. And the last time she *headed* a successfully-commercial movie was 101 Dalmatians in 1996. This movie, like Barbra Streisand's Gypsy, will never happen.*
Agreed. I think there are many reasons why a film of SUNSET BLVD. will not be made, regardless of how much Close's bankability as a star will increase if she wins the Oscar. |
