I don't know why anyone would thinking "Sunset Blvd will never be made." With or without or Ms. Close. She probably will win the Oscar, and she is great in the role. If TV producers were willing to cast her as a 20-30 year old Nellie Forbush in South Pacific when she was in her 50s, film producers would certainly cast her as an actress her own age in "Sunset Boulevard." She jsut sang a concert version of it in NYC a year ago or so, so she has the pipes. It is one of the most famous Hollywood films in history. I hope it is done and with her.
