Netflix has been spending a lot of money recently so anything is possible (have you seen the 50 million dollar super-pig movie Okja, a half English-half Korean language children's movie with graphic depiction of animal harvesting, lots of dirty words and Tilda Swinton--I loved it).
But most of the special projects are them wanting to be in business with a specific director.
Of course, Hugh Jackman wanting to revisit Joe Gillis, could make a feature version marketable.
And Hollywood loves movies about Hollywood.
