Loved it as well. The production has a bit of the BBAJ feel -- but that may be that two or three of the cast was in that production.
I saw the Encores production and remember almost nothing about it (other than the projections). This story was clear - the characters' motivations and reactions clear - and Gussie stood out as a much more significant player than I call. I found the cafe scene between Mary and Charley to be particularly good. |
