The Michael Weller screenplay for HAIR was such an improvement, that the stage play seems thin, in retrospect(tho I remember reading strong reviews for the recent version with Gavin Creel) How about the City Center production of THE NEW YORKERS or the upcoming KISS ME KATE? They could stress Cole Porter who is still a draw, or several of the Encores productions that have never been recorded, I saw KATE back in the 50s with Alfred Drake and Patricia Morrison on TV. They could play "The name's LaGuardia" as a commercial for FIORELLO! There are lots of inventive choices of classic shows that would not have to be a "what would the kidz watch?" type of choice.
