I thought the reaction to her performance was unusually enthusiastic, even for the often-over-amped Tonight Show.
I thought her accent had deepened a little bit since I last heard her. Not too much, just a bit more detailed.
It's hard to say whether TV and film are her media. She has a very exotic look, but also a bit hard to pin down. I would hope that casting directors and executives would see that as a positive thing.
Hopefully more low-ket musicals like The Band's Visit will get written and maybe the creators will have her in mind when they are writing. |
