Schimmel Center at Pace University concludes its 2018-19 Comedy 1 Series with a double-bill evening of standup featuring Crazy Rich Asians actor
Ronny Chieng and NBC Stand Up Showcase Winner Dulcé Sloan on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 7:30pm. Perhaps best known as correspondents on Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, these two internationally award-winning comedians will take the stage together for the first time for a special Valentine's Day performance. Tickets start at $19 and can be purchased at SchimmelCenter.org, by phone at 212-346-1715, or by visiting the Schimmel Center Box Office at 3 Spruce Street in Manhattan. Box office hours are Tuesday-Saturday, Noon-5pm, and then beginning three hours prior to each performance, through intermission.

About Ronny Chieng
Ronny Chieng started performing standup in Australia after graduating from the University of Melbourne, winning the Directors' Choice Award at 2014's Melbourne International Comedy Festival and being named one of the Top 10 Rising Comedians in Australia by several major publications. Chieng has performed at the Montreal Just For Laughs festival, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the New Zealand International Comedy Festival. His sold-out comedy tours have played major international venues including London's Soho Theatre, the Sydney Opera House, Singapore's Esplanade Concert Hall, and others. He made his US television debut on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson in 2015 and was shortly thereafter hired as a correspondent on Comedy Central's The Daily Show. He recently played Eddie Chen in the Golden Globe-nominated film Crazy Rich Asians, and he also co-wrote and stars in his own television series Ronny Chieng: International Student, which has aired internationally on Comedy Central, ABC Australia, the BBC, and Comedy Central Asia. www.ronnychieng.com.

About Dulcé Sloan
As a regular correspondent on Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Trevor Noah and hailed by Variety as a 2018 "Top 10 Comedian to Watch," Dulcé Sloan is one of the sharpest, fastest rising voices in comedy, known for her honest perspective that speaks truth to power and eviscerates the status quo. In 2016 she won NBC's 12th annual Stand Up Showcase, and she was featured as a "New Face" at Montreal's 2015 Just For Laughs festival. For television, she was cast in the FOX pilot Type-A opposite Eva Longoria as well as the Amy Poehler project Dumb Prince for NBC. We are excited to announce two major changes to the House Left Bar at Schimmel Center. Beginning this season, beer, soda and wine purchased from the House Left Bar will be served in a Schimmel Center Souvenir Cup, allowing guests to enjoy beverages throughout the entire performance. Credit card transactions will now be accepted, making purchases from the House Left Bar more convenient and accessible. The House Left Bar serves wine, beer, soda, and snacks and is open one hour prior to curtain and during intermission.

Please note, no outside food or beverage is allowed in the Schimmel Center theater.
