| "A Death In The Family" is a lovely piece and I feel assured that Flaherty and Ahrens will create a stirring and special musical from it. I only hope in doing so that the gorgeous, inspiring celebrations of humanity will be better honored than the criminal dismissal of a previous significant work of theirs suffered in favor of an over-produced puppet show. (And I ADORE "Carnival!" so it's nothing against puppets!) |
