because I was really looking forward to the show, but i found Superhero to be a snooze, with lots of songs that sound pretty much the same, with nothing much in a different tempo, etc.
One song kind of at the beginning is staged very imaginatively, and that gave me hope for some ingenuity, but nothing on that same level was to come.
Performances are mostly great. I thought Bryce Pinkham was a bit low energy though. And I usually enjoy his performances. |
