But have there ever been "kid priced" tickets for Broadway show?

I agree, HARRY POTTER seems decidedly pitched toward people who read the Harry Potter novels as kids, not kids, per se. And I'd say that WICKED and MEAN GIRLS are pitched at the junior high and high school set.

SPONGEBOB, from my perch, certainly seemed to be aiming for the "bring the whole family!" crowd. Considering how kind the reviews were, I was quite surprised it didn't play longer

(but when I saw it, I must confess that I found quite creative but utterly RANDOM.)

I do wish FROZEN and ANASTASIA were better shows. But ONCE ON THIS ISLAND was frankly terrific, and I can't figure out why it didn't have a longer run. :(

Back to the topic at hand, would it be a mess to offer some sort of kid-priced ticket promotion? Impossible to monitor / enforce?
