| Yes, I saw JOE EGG. I have a very distinct memory of the beginning of the show. There was a jazz combo on stage that played throughout and he came barreling on stage to start his first monologue to the audience, who he treated as his students. Both he and Zena Walker, who played his wife, were terrific. I've seen it several times since but I've never seen those performances equalled, let alone surpassed. |
