For a musical, my favorite seat as first row (or thereabouts) center of the mezzanine (which LCT calls the "loge" for some unfathomable reason). I want to see the patterns of the choreography and all musicals now are so loudly amplified, that there is no need to sit close. (Having written that, MFL has beautiful amplification.) Because the Vivian Beaumont is an apron theater with fan seating, I REALLY want to be in the center section, no matter whether orchestra or mezzanine.
