Since you have no supporting documentation, nor any comments from any of the original creators to verify your theory, it is inaccurate to make a blanket statement, as your "title" did, implying this is the truth. It's merely your opinion, and you can provide all the documentation you like about minstrel shows, but it won't change the fact that you're providing nothing in the way of proof that this is what the creators intended.
As has been listed by Pierce below, there is, however, very well documented proof about what they were going for, especially in Ted Chapin's book - and he was actually there, and was the one sent to get the "white gloves."
