I enjoyed it too. Ms Cusack isnt a Merman style belter, but still managed to pull it off. Only caveat is that Act 2 seemed progressively shambolic - kind of like they never got around to staging it very much. That said, the second acts of 'musical comedies' are usually fairly weak. KISS ME KATE is fascinating (if they havent ruined it in order to revive it) because the second act has almost no 'plot' - it feels like a series of novelty numbers, then a rush of plot, then its over.
