There has been a version of the Lab agreement used off Broadway since 2016, which provides profit sharing. Giving up 1% of profits, from the producers tranche of profits, after 110% recoupment, is not a burden to any producer. If you make $1,000,000 profit on the producer side, you are giving up $10,000.
