I appreciate the hesitation before "posh." Higgins isn't really teaching her posh or upper-class. He's teaching her to speak correctly (or what he believes is correctly), and it's an important point in both Shaw and the musical that this is not upper-class. This is why no one can identify where she's from when she speaks as Higgins as taught her, whereas Higgins and Nepommuk / Karpathy can identify where people who speak with posh and upper-class accents were raised.
