(Or however you abbreviate amplified sound through a microphone. Miced? Miked?)
I saw True West last week and was puzzled by how loud, clear and even all the voices were. More curious, however, was that the people moved around the stage but the voices didn't. I haven't noticed this odd phenomenon in other straight play productions. Is this artificial quality the new norm and will we soon be blasted out of our seats like we are with musicals? |
