That A.E. Hotchner adapted "Old Man and the Sea" I mentioned earlier ...

... well, now I've seen it and it's quite stunning. Beautifully produced, with a fine cast led by Anthony Crivello (Tony winner for Kiss of the Spider Woman, plus many other Broadway, Off-Broadway, and regional productions) and accompanied (and really fitting in with the story) by wonderful cello music composed and played by Simon J.C. Cummings. All this is in the impressive new Highmark Theatre at Playhouse of Point Park University's new downtown location. The curved audience seating space works very well here.

I hope this gets produced elsewhere.
