| Is there anyone around who is a bigger 'real-deal' Broadway star than Tony Yazbeck? Seeing him in clips of Pimpernel rehearsals has reminded me of his career so far. He dances elegantly as Astaire; his voice is its own orchestra, capable of power and nuance; it's both brass and tender flute; and his acting is nonpareil. And he has that mysterious quality of some stage actors, a ruggedness about their looks which allows lovely surprise when they prove to be vulnerable. He's an act of Broadway magic. |

| I agree with every word, and can only add that he's also an unbelievably nice guy. I've been on Playbill cruises with him and can attest that he's a great companion at both the dinner and blackjack tables! | |
