...since Crazy for You. I hope this is Ms. Benson's choice. If it's not--and any creatives are reading--I sure would love to see her onstage again.

Agree. Caught her years ago as the narrator in “Joseph...” and she was fabulous. So charismatic.

The one Disney heroine I really wish had come back to Broadway was Paige O'Hara

very fine work as Elly in the Donald O'Connor "Show Boat" and absolutely stole the show with her hilarious and well-sung Diana Devereaux in "Of Thee I Sing"/"Let 'Em Eat Cake" at BAM with Larry Kert, Maureen McGovern and Jack Gilford.

...it would be Anika Noni Rose. I know, of course, she tread the boards in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and A Raisin in the Sun, but Carmen Jones was a bold, all-caps REMINDER of her giant musical talent. Caroline or Change opened and closed almost 15 years ago. It's time for her to come back!!!

(The single most enjoyable extra on the Dreamgirls DVD is getting to see her sing Ain't No Party in her audition.)
