Do you think LCT will be offering us another play
this spring while My Fair Lady is still in residence?
Or is the See It Again at Member Prices the offer
for the spring?

I would think it would be announced by now.

I’m surprised they didn’t link with a commercial production like mockingbird. King Lear would have been a good choice especially since Scott rudin produced mockingbird and this spring Gary, Lear and Clinton.

I may be mistaken, but I believe LCT members were able to purchase Mockingbird tix at member prices.

As coproducer, lct members got member prices tickets.

It is surprising that rudin is sole producer for his three spring shows. I would have thought he might share the risk with lct on one of them.

Sure, so we could all sit in the back of the Orchestra or the Mezzanine.

My member seat was second center orchestra for Mockingbird. I bought it the first day of sales. But have a dual subscription and noticed that the front orchestra is no longer offered to members for the rest of the run.

Yeah, I don't think I have ever been angrier than when I had my empty water bottle confiscated (and not even recycled, mind you), which I was planning to refill after the show, at a different location, for my train ride home. I mean, WTF? I almost did not attend the show.

I've said this before on here (and occasionally been excoriated as being 'greedy' or some such nonsense),
but at every Scott Rudin production at which I've had a water bottle confiscated (4 or 5 by now), I've callled Telecharge afterwards to complain,
and have always been refunded the price of the water bottles sold at the bar, to my original credit card. (Once I had to threaten a credit card dispute, but only once.)
I also know that many of my theatergoing neighbors sitting near me, all similarly irate, have done the same thing.

And before anyone says I'm 'spoiled' or 'entitled', I should add that EACH. SINGLE. TIME., Telecharge has told me that this shouldn't be happening, and have promised to look into it to assure me it wouldn't happen again. Which, in the end, is why I've had no problem making a regular habit of asking for and receiving a partial refund for each water bottle I've had to purchase at a Scott Rudin production.
The problem, again, isn't merely that Broadway isn't Madison Square Garden or Yankee Stadium...
it's that the reason being given for confiscating water bottles isn't one of safety, but rather of 'the crinkling of the water bottles being distracting to the performers'.
Which, obviously, is bullshit, since they have no problem selling loud drinks with clinking, crunchy ice that make twice as much noise, or expensive crinkly bags of M&M's.

Every other theatre or producer on Broadway allows water bottles, and Telecharge is on the record as agreeing their theatres shouldn't be an exception, so Rudin shouldn't be allowed to get away with it. (And, for the last 3 or 4 years since he instituted this policy, at least from where I sit, he obviously hasn't been.)

It's a bit of a hassle, but it's worth the minor effort and protest, to make sure this doesn't become policy at all theatres going forward.
(And, as long as Telecharge has made it clear I'm not "getting away with anything" or "being entitled", it also doesn't hurt that many of us wind up getting a $5 or $6 refund on nearly every show of his that I see.)
Just a little tip for anyone similarly inconvenienced or incensed.

So, you’ve ‘passed water’ at Scott Rudin productions eh?

I am glad to read that you have expressed your annoyance by asking for recompense. It is your right and I would suggest that we all, instead of solely bitching about things that bother us on sites like this, we go to the source and lodge our complaints with a request that we be compensated for our loss, including the loss of our personal time. Companies will only respond to complaints when it affects their revenue. (Yes, I am talking to you Verizon FIOS)

I totally don’t understand this water bottle policy. Who gets the monies from a newly purchased bottle of water? Is it the producer or the theater owner?

Noise issue? That can’t be it. How often have I listened to the clinking of the ice cubes in a sippy cub containing ice cubes and a good red wine? Please read this last sentence with the bitter sarcasm intended.
