| We saw it Saturday afternoon-an exhausting three hours-there are 2 ten minute intermissions. There were plenty of walk-outs at both intermissions.Play is really disjointed-gay,young,black artist starts living with middle aged white patron and artist's bible thumping mom comes to visit and is NOT pleased-There's a pool on stage with lots of splashing and the 2 leads are frequently naked-at one point the whole cast gets in the pool (there are 3 gospel singers too) Wasn't impressed at all,can't wait to see reviews! |
