I don't know if it's just you. But if words, phrases, and concepts like "breadth of feeling," "narrative clarity," "plainly and fully committed," "thoughtful and smartly conceived," and "viable but wan" turn you off and/or leave you confused, that's probably not the case for many other readers. |
