| My previous visits to the Cort have always been in the orchestra, but that is not an option for the Lear date I need. Given the generally intimate nature of the theatre, am I correct in assuming that second row balcony might be better than last row mezzanine or would you choose the mezzanine? | |

| The balcony at the Cort is *high* but it gives a good view. | |

| I can’t see this being a huge sellout. The house and premium seats will be available a few days before your date in the orchestra. Unless you are looking for the last week or two of the run when shows like this do sell out. I’ve gotten to the point of buying very little in advance and rarely even check now for presale. Producers can blame advance sale low numbers on offering bad seats early. A week before I arrive in town is when I start looking for seats and usually half the shows are when I get to nyc. And that is true for singles and pairs although pairs are a little tougher and require checking telecharge more often. |

| I found this to be the case when looking for member tickets to the Benanti MFL. In advance, nothing available in prime sections, but a day or two before, much better options. | |

| I love the balcony first and second row at the Cort. It hangs closer to the stage than most of them. In the back of the mezzanine, I always feel a little further away and cramped. Go for second row balcony. | |

| Honestly, I think the balcony at the Cort is one of the best-kept secrets on Broadway: great view, great value and it doesn't feel like you're a million miles away. I would take it over rear mezzanine, although that option isn't terribly bad either. (When I did standing room for FENCES, it was behind the back from of the mezzanine, and the view was fine.) | |
