| We were there Saturday evening. Going by the mixed reviews, and the pan in the NYT, I expected less than I might have given how much I adored Fiasco's Into the Woods. I should have trusted this marvelous company's fresh take- it was a delight. I saw Lin Manuel Miranda play Charley in Encores, but last night's Franklin Shepard Inc was the best! I loved the staging, the costume changes, the essence of the characters brought to life. It grabbed my heart and brought a new appreciation of the work. Well done again, Fiasco! |
