Bette sang the lilting lullaby of ''The Place Where Lost Things Go,'' from ''Mary Poppins Returns,'' accompanied by Marc Shaiman.

(And had Shaiman won for this song or his score, he could've completed his EGOT, but Oscar voters went Gaga for ''Shallow.'')

Sad that Bette could sing at the Oscars (from a movie that she's not associated with), but not at the Tonys for ''Hello, Dolly!''

Accompanied by Marc Shaiman? I'm not so sure. I mean yes, he was sitting at the piano, and he may have been playing, but all I heard was the orchestra. If they wanted to feature him playing, why didn't they????
