They bought it because it was a once in a lifetime opportunity they didn't feel they could pass up.
They don't use it more because they can't afford to.

We have the option of being positive about it or negative. There is a respectable argument for either. I'd like to think that, over time, they will make and raise enough money to use it to its maximum potential within their mission. That would be cool, especially since the other non-profits on Broadway spend too much time doing tired things. Also, I would read these two new hires as steps in the right direction, on two fronts.
