My Princess Diana is an intimate, heartfelt musical that tells the story of Princess Diana, through the eyes of an ordinary American woman. Struggling to get back on her feet after a family tragedy, Nancy finds solace in her memories of Diana, a woman with whom she feels a deep personal connection despite the obvious disparities in their lives. On the anniversary of Diana's death, Nancy, a frustrated musician, sits at her neglected piano and begins to musically tell Diana’s story. Her melodies unlock a magical score allowing Diana herself steps onto the stage and tell her well-known story from a very personal point of view. With humor and honesty, My Princess Diana, connects these two women's lives in a surprising, heartbreaking, and ultimately uplifting way. “We are thrilled to be able to present My Princess Diana as a benefit for Broadway Cares / Equity Fight AIDS, as its a warm, captivating story about grief, female friendship and the power of empathy, this new musical will leave audiences with hope in their heart.” Producer, Kirk Sprinkles Pfeiffer The cast of 23 includes Aimee Erickson as Nancy , Sophie Amelkin as Diana, James Conrad Smith, Juliette Stewart, Elizabeth M.
