| In 1989, it was a lot easier to get away with things like that, especially in a student production in the Yale Cabaret. There would have been minimal publicity, probably no reviews (if there was one, just in a Yale paper), probably performed for just a very few performances, minimal production values. I think this is different than even a community theatre production or even a full-scale student production would have been. This sounds like a student-directed production in a very informal setting. |
