The question is what the rights agreement between Dramatic publishing company and the Lee Estate says. And for reference, there are two separate Sergel versions of TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD.
It would be unusual that the rights to the Sergel scripts could be pulled - but anything done regarding DPC's rights to license their versions would have to be agreed with DPC. The more normal thing would be to restrict production of the Sergel version while the Broadway production, and/or tour is running.

But because Rudin is not doing the Sergel script, its all a bit more complicated.

The answer lies in the DPC rights agreement with the Lee estate.
