| This one might be under the radar for folks, so I wanted to offer some big love for this little show. I caught it last night and thought it was adorable. The cast (especially Michael Rosen) is completely charming, and the book and score are full of wit. More than wit. It’s a sweet story, but with real solid structure to it— full of surprises that coalesce in the end pretty perfectly. And without being sentimental, it has a wonderful “message” and comes by it honestly. I kind of adored it. I think it’s only set to run to the end of next month, so if you’re on the fence, go. I got a ticket at the TKTS booth. |
