| The intensity of the pushback to some mild questioning about these lists in today's social context is pretty interesting. Seems way out of proportion. | |

| I wouldn't characterize "this seems out of place for 2019" as "mild questioning," nor would I characterize the response to that statement as "way out of proportion." I wonder if the people who object to the TimeOut list think BROADWAY BARES should be stopped, or that it should be required to featured lots of full-figured people in skimpy clothing? |

| For what it may be worth, Broadway Bares HAS expanded its body type inclusion over the years to include zaftig and Bear-ish types and gender-non-conforming types and a bit of everything in the mix at times. I am not criticizing you, only pointing that out. (I enjoy the list for its prurient merits and also as a window into what the north-east thinks hotness looks like this year.) Also, a little over-reaction on both sides is to be expected. Everyone gets a little defensive when their kink is called out. |
