I can't afford subscriptions any more, so I have to pick and choose. Both the Ahmanson and Pantages routinely put damn near everything on Goldstar now (save HAMILTON). Pantages delayed putting HELLO, DOLLY! on Goldstar until about ten days before it opened--it was close to full, as was COME FROM AWAY at the Ahmanson this fall. Besides HAMILTON, I think the last time I saw a jam-packed Pantages was Nov 2016 for HEDWIG, but some much of their recent seasons have been endless retreads (WICKED, PHANTOM, CATS, LES MIS). I guess there's a market, but I'm not it.
